Sabi Sabi offers the classic safari experience in the heart of the African bush. It lies adjacent to the Kruger National Park and, because there are no fences dividing it and the park, wildlife roams freely between them. This is Big Five country, but it is also home to hundreds of species of smaller animals and an abundance of birds, insects, reptiles and plants (including rare and endangered species).
Sabi Sabi offers their visitors close encounters with African wildlife, on game drives and walking safaris, in the company of knowledgeable trackers and rangers. There are two game drives in open vehicles each day (early morning and late afternoon) as well as an optional walk before lunch.
At the end of the day, luxury accommodation awaits at four different camps: Selati Camp is the smallest and most intimate of Sabi Sabi's camps. It is reminiscent of a bygone era, infused with artifacts, vintage décor and old world charm. Nights are illuminated by oil lamps and campfires, complete with bush stories told by camp rangers and staff.
Bush Lodge is known for its convivial atmosphere and immaculate service. In its 25 years it has hosted presidents and kings, and people from almost every nation on earth.
Earth Lodge's minimalist design and organic architecture highlight the ecological sensitivity that has been used in the planning and running of this wilderness retreat.
Nestling in the shade of indigenous riverine trees on the banks of the Msuthlu river lies Little Bush Camp. Six luxury suites, each with a private viewing deck overlooking the riverbed, are decorated in contemporary African design and beautiful wooden finishes.
