Animal Demography Unit (ADU), University of Cape Town

If your passion is to be out in the field and to be involved in projects which make a difference, then the ADU is
where you want to be. Citizen scientists are the eyes and ears of the ADU, and we use the data submitted to produce
conservation assessments for species. The outcomes feed into “state of the environment” reports and ultimately influence
conservation policy. The ADU currently has citizen science projects running on birds, butterflies and reptiles.
